Our Services Include:

  • Videostroboscopy – used to identify various vocal cord conditions and abnormalities
  • Acoustic and Aerodynamic Assessment of Voice
  • Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) – used to examine the motor and sensory functions of swallowing so that proper treatment can be given to patients with swallowing difficulties to decrease their risk of aspiration and choking
  • Voice therapy
  • Swallowing therapy

About Our Speech Pathologist:

Cara Bryan, MA, CCC/SLP is a licensed speech language pathologist, voice and singing specialist who has been practicing since 2002. Her special interests include care of the occupational voice, performing voice, speech and swallowing in progressive neurological diseases, vocal cord dysfunction, and chronic cough.

Ms. Bryan received her undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Music, vocal performance as a classically trained soprano. Cara attended graduate school in speech pathology at the University of Iowa.

Prior to establishing her practice in 2016, Ms. Bryan’s clinical experience has been in the acute care and outpatient hospital settings.
